DIY CHALK PAINT RECIPE

4 Tablespoons Calcium Carbonate

2 Tablespoons Water

1 cup Flat Latex Paint with Primer

Stir the Calcium Carbonate with the water until smooth. Stir in the Calcium Carbonate mixture until the latex paint. Stir well. Store covered.

Note- I purchased "oops" paint from Home Depot and Lowes in colors that I like. I have only used flat or satin finish. I have been able to purchase a quart of the opps paint for only about $2.50. The regular price is frequently in excess of $25 per quart.
